Neil Mellor’s most notable achievement is his career as a professional football player. After suffering a career-ending injury, Neil retired from professional football. That still did not stop his drive in life, and he transitioned to doing match updates and commentary by working as a sports broadcaster. Neil: “During my professional football career, I represented Liverpool Football Club and was part of a Champions League- winning squad. I have acquired great skills and experiences from my 13- year professional footballer career, having represented Liverpool FC, Preston North End, West Ham United, Wigan Athletic, and Sheffield
Wednesday. I am an established broadcaster working on TV with SkySports and Liverpool FC, and various radio and podcast organisations,
enabling me to continue growing for 8 years. I now spend my time as an international keynote speaker and manage to relate my experiences to all, with resilience being my most powerful and inspiring topic to deliver.”
